Hi! My name is Elaira Gabon, but you can call me Elai or Elaira.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Financial Management, and I have more than 3 years of experience in accounting and finance.
I previously worked at Nanox Philippines Inc., a subsidiary of Japan Display Inc., where I gained hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations, payment processing, inventory management, payroll support, and month-end closing. My responsibilities included processing payments to local and international suppliers, matching invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts, preparing payment vouchers, resolving invoice discrepancies, and ensuring all supporting documents were complete before processing payments. I also handled bank uploads, fund transfers, currency revaluations, and financial reporting using SAP Business One and SAP ERP.
Before that, I worked in the banking industry, where I handled daily cash operations, bank reconciliations, branch accounting, customer service, and administrative tasks. There were also times when I served as the officer-in-charge in the manager's absence, which strengthened my leadership and decision-making skills.
I also worked at McDonald's while studying, and being a working student taught me discipline, time management, and how to perform well under pressure.
I am a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable professional who takes pride in delivering accurate and timely work. Although my previous roles were office-based, I am excited to transition into remote work and am eager to build a long-term career where I can contribute my accounting skills while continuing to learn and grow.
