Every movement of goods, must be recorded and maintained. First-In First-out must be implemented at all times in order not to waste any materials due to expiration. There must be a maintaining stock at all times, and when the number is reached, an appropriate order must me made to replenish them. Every end of the month, there must be a physical counting to be made at all stocks.

Records are always migrated to MS Excel, and here we work around the data in order to show by graphical representations, any report, in order to monitor the progress. Some may come from databases, but after we have gathered the data that we need, it will always be migrated to MS EXCEL.

Handling people could be difficult, but handling yourself first makes you a model for them. Throughout my career in a manufacturing industry, it is a must that we hit the goals and targets set by our Key Process Indicators (KPI); We should be able to identify tasks which are urgent and important, and work accordingly by priority.

Incoming materials from suppliers which does not have their own forwarders, the company must shoulder and book. Look for forwarders which has advantages, and prepare the needed information before booking: Delivery terms, payment terms, account to use, ship to name, ship to address, contact person, contact number, email, Description of Goods, number of units, Price per unit, total price, net weight, gross weight and total weight.

I have been an Internal Auditor in the company for ISO 9001 AND 14001. Since then, I am able to link the quality standard to the actual implementation of the standard. If there are any findings, we try to recommend actions to improve, or if the findings is lethal, we have to raise to non-conformance, in order to correct the process as soon as possible to avoid quality issues.

Raw materials which are needed for the company processes, must be ready and available at all times, or must arrive timely at a required date. Every product must have a specification on order to be qualified for use, to lessen the quality impact of the product or service to be made; Buyers must have a list of suppliers which are qualified and keep it updated for future use. Always ask for discount in order to lessen the expenses of the company.
