Working with parents in the school includes good communication, I give the parents clear, concise, fair, and honest feedback about their child's performance and behavior . I update them on the progress of their child and give them advice on how they can help their child improve in certain areas. I give them updates whenever we conduct our quarterly Parent-Teacher- Conference online, using the zoom platform or when the concern about the child is urgent, I call them by phone. I also use email to communicate with them formally and when informing them about the activities in our school

I use slides and canvas for my PowerPoint presentations in class discussion, I use sheets for recording the grades, and docs to draft my worksheets and assessments. We also use different software for our drafting of assessments which will be done online. We use calendly in scheduling a Parent-Teacher-Conference. I could easily get familiar with new applications and software.

I usually organize the PowerPoint presentations, videos, pictures, documents that I use for my classes in the Google Drive to have easy access to the documents that I will be needing in the future. I usually put labels on my hard copy files and sort them accordingly. I make sure to keep my working table organized so that when I need something, I could easily find it and so that it won't take too much of my time and that I can work efficiently. As a teacher, we have a timeline for our deliverables and I am always early in submitting my deliverables like exam drafts, curriculum map, and grades with minimal corrections. My proficiency in this skill is also reflected on how I manage my time before the class–when I prepare my materials for class; during class–when I teach, and when I discipline kids; after class– when I check and grade the papers of my students, update some parents, and attend meetings. I usually use the Google Notes to jot down my to-do list and the calendar to note important meetings. I believe this are some of the qualities that a virtual assistant should possess.

I was able to compile and edit video a lot of dance/song presentations of my students. I was also able to create videos out of the stories I got from the book. I usually use canva, google slide, and imovie in video editing.
