Operations/Customer Service
o Ensure high level of customer satisfaction for authors during the entire publication process.
o Develop effective internal processes to achieve business goals.
o Manage the day to day operations of the Author Services - Department
o Develop effective monthly operational plans
o Come up with strategies to make sure monthly volume and revenue targets are met.
o Coordinate with US offices and other Department owners to address certain issues.
Human Resources Manager
o Create an up-beat work environment, schedule activities, promote community involvement, host meetups
o Responsible for monitoring employees and dealing with general HR issues such as compliance with employment policies, etc.
o Monitor time off, productivity and work assignments
o Manage performance reviews
o Encourage tea ---------- mbers to achieve their goals, meet their learning objectives and push them to be leaders in the community
o Identify areas of local engagement where we can give back to local community
Finance & Facility
o responsible for all payments (payroll), money transfers, bank accounts, rent and utility payments
o responsible for meeting all regulatory requirements and managing the legal and accounting contractors.
Recruiting
o Create a constant stream of interested recruit applications
o Interview, select and hire employees and contractors as needed
o Engage with local universities and companies to maintain a steady stream of applicants
Marketing
o Promote the company as a leading-edge company in Cebu, and key cities in the Philippines
o Seek out and respond to marketing opportunities
o Provide assistance to main office in regards to global marketing tasks
o Support local technology events
Legal
o Liaison between the two offices
o Handle employment contracts
o Handle disputes and HR issues
o Provide assistance in creation of SOW and MSA as well as proposals for our main office
Analyst
o Review work assignments from US Based PM
o Monitor LOE assignments against actual work
o Review and support developers in feedback tasks
Main office support
o Provide support to the CPO, Director of Operations & Technology and CEO
