Hi, My name is ----------   and I am proud to say that I am a Medical Healthcare Virtual Assistant. I have graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing from one of the universities in Cebu, Philippines. Little
about me, I am organized, detail oriented, I am committed to my work, accuracy
and confidentially in all of my healthcare related task of course with HIPAA
compliance. My goal is to help our provider lessen  their workload and stress. Focus on patient
care while I handle the back office job. 
In regards to my experience, I work as a remote nurse with an Endocrinologist doctor with a Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant and 4 local Medical Assistants located in  Atlanta, Georgia. We use EClinical Works as EHR, portals for lab, diagnostic imaging and procedure results such as SEPA labs, Libre/Dexcom/Glooko/Medtronics, LabCorp and Quest. I used to work with a fertility clinic  as well that is based in New York. Handling inbound and outbound calls, and Vonage as our business cloud communication provider. Managing Medical Records and Patient Scheduling.  Lastly, I also used to work as an Account Receivable Executive Assistant at Athena.  I process prior authorization to heath plans like BCBS, CareSource, Centene Buckeye, Cigna, Aetna, etc. Basically what I do is prior authorization initiation, documentation of final determination of authorization, manage accurate and timely authorization update and follow up calls to assigned payers as each procedure requested is scheduled. Most of the taken process are specialized in radiology, digestive, cardiology and orthopedics.
