Construction projects fail when technical oversight is weak, documentation is sloppy, or the data behind decisions is unreliable. I fix all three — remotely.

I'm John Edzel Muhi, a licensed Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) and Registered Master Electrician (RME) from the Philippines, currently serving as Project Development Officer II at the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) — overseeing Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Systems for the New Senate Building Project (Phase I & II), one of the most complex and high-visibility national infrastructure projects in the country.

Over the past 5+ years at DPWH, I have personally managed and implemented nearly 100 public infrastructure projects — spanning multi-purpose facilities, school buildings, government office complexes, evacuation centers, and water supply stations. In every project, precision, code compliance, and zero-compromise safety were the baseline, not the goal.

MEPF Systems Engineering — Load calculations, single-line diagrams, system coordination across Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection trades. Code-compliant to Philippine Electrical Code and international standards.

Construction Document Control — Deep, hands-on experience preparing and validating RFIs, RFAs, RFFTs, RFMIs, As-Built Plans, material inspection and test results, and submittal packages. This is where most remote engineers fall short — I do not.

Project Management — Google-certified (Professional Certificate). Skilled in MS Project and Primavera P6 for scheduling, WBS development, milestone tracking, and stakeholder progress reporting.

Data Analytics & SQL — Three Google Professional Certificates in Data Analytics and Advanced Data Analytics, with hands-on skills in SQL, spreadsheets, and data cleansing. I turn scattered project data into clear, decision-ready dashboards and reports.
