Now widowed, I am looking to integrate myself back into the world with a goal to build an independent life by myself.
My career path is in Fashion Merchandising, where I have 8 years of experience under my belt. I also have a total of 5 years in retail operations experience.
I am a 3 time awardee for Best Category Merchandise Manager of the year. Each year that I have earned an award, the brand I handled had double digit percent growth, double digit percent margins, and over 100?hievement to sales plan for the year. My achievements were attained through hard work, grit, dedication and determination to learn. I earned these achievements with the help and guidance of my co-workers and leaders who make up a dynamic, inspiring, hard working and efficient team.
Merchandising is my dream job and I find great fulfillment in my career, providing our customers with a great selection of merchandise to choose from. I am able to handle the entire business of a brand in addition to merchandise selection. My selection process is a combination of art, research, gut instinct and a lot of business analytics. My focus is to maximize sales and margins through carefully selected quality merchandise that consumers want to purchase.
