Profile Description

•Reviewed electrical specifications / builders instructions and electrical drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
•Arranged plans and other files in designated folder for proper documentation.
•Checked and acknowledge all plans, documents and Addendum
•Prepared estimates by completing takeoff of scope of work.
•Sent out a request for pricing to identified or nominated suppliers and subcontractors.
•Reviewed quotes for completeness with plans and specs.
•Prepare price comparison sheet to determine the best offer from suppliers.
•Prepare a project quote, adding descriptions, inclusion & exclusion, clarifications for estimates and pricing.
•Ensure sub-contractor and supplier quotations are received and input into the project estimating system (Simpro)
•Coordinate with Senior Estimator / Project Manager to determine labor strategies.
•Ensured compliance of all relevant codes and standards.
•On successful tenders, review Construction Issue plans, prepare files in conjunction with the Senior estimator for handover to Project Manager
•Alter Electrical plan using Autocad to produce AsBuilts
•Drafting of Electrical plan (Lighting, Power, Data and schematics) or any system requested / instructed by the Director for the Design & Construct projects.
