In my previous roles across various industries, I managed Account Payable processes and monitored aging schedules, and in one industry role, I prepared payment vouchers using MYOB.

Throwback to my early roles in bookkeeping, I was hands-on with the fundamentals -- verifying source documents, recording transactions, and preparing Financial Statements all the way through closing entries. Those experiences taught me the importance of accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting, and gave me a strong foundation for the accounting systems I work with today. Looking back, I see those years as the building blocks of my career – where attention to detail and consistency became second nature.

Skilled in account reconciliation, with expertise in verifying financial records, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy across ledgers and external statements – including bank reconciliations to support reliable financial reporting.

I have worked extensively in financial accounting, handling everything from recording transactions and reconciling accounts to preparing Financial Statements and closing entries. It is an area where I have built strong attention to detail and confidence in keeping records and accurate compliant.

I have used MYOB extensively for close to ten years, managing the full accounting cycle up to Financial Statements and closing entries. It is a system I am very comfortable with, and it’s been key to maintaining accurate and compliant records.

I have used SAP to manage essential accounting functions such as reconciling accounts and preparing reports, supporting accurate and reliable financial records.

I have completed training in Xero, with foundational knowledge of its Accounting functions and readiness to apply skills in practice.

I have completed training in QuickBooks, which gave me a solid understanding of how to use it for recording transactions, reconciliations, and preparing reports. While I have not used it hands-on in a workplace yet, I’m confidents I can apply what I learned.
