I thought for a long time that being organized and sticking to plans was the most important thing. Then I learned that adaptability was a thing in productivity too. Being capable and flexible where you can be able to adjust to every situation would make our professional and personal life better.

My best personal growth experiences have come from creatively exploring opposing ideas. I put a lot of effort into understanding the concepts I was being taught and not just completing the assignments. I learned a different way of looking at the world and everything about me.

I was never an organizer person during high school. But then I got into college and realized how much easier life is when I learned how to organize myself. I learned that doing everything at the last minute stresses me out and it would reflect my output. I forced myself to finish projects early, I’d have more time to polish them before they were due, and I felt good about myself and way less anxious.

Used Canva for certain tasks since it is easy to use. As an ambitious designer, I think it’s important to be tool-agnostic and use whatever works best for the project/client.

In construction, I managed to work with non-engineers or those who don’t know how construction works clients, and I need to be able to interpret to them what they are instructing me, with what is possible or best practice. I then able to clearly explain what I’m doing and make sure it will live up to their expectations. All while keeping things to the engineering standards and maintaining everything within their comfort.

I tend to make a note and set up a calendar to put things there and it will ding me about the next thing I need to do. I love to make a master list of everything I want to accomplish by the end of the day or by the end of the week. It helped me in amazing ways.
Since high school, I have used Adobe Photoshop to create poster designs. I began with a tutorial for beginners, where I learned the layout, fundamentals, and different tools. For me at least, it also involves a lot of experimentation. Although it's great to watch someone else accomplish something in a tutorial and replicate it, you must try out various effects, brushes, filters, and other elements.
