**Reports to:** Dr. Desirie Sykes, Founder & CEO

### **Role Overview**

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and creative **Operations & Marketing Assistant** to serve as the right hand to our founder, Dr. Desirie Sykes. This dual-threat role requires a unique mix of **strong administrative support** (calendar management, professional phone communication) and **digital marketing prowess** (social media, graphic design, and website updates).

Because we specialize in behavioral services and community care, an ideal candidate will have a genuine interest or background in **special education and mental health**.

### **Key Responsibilities**

#### **1. Day-to-Day Operations & Schedule Management**

* **Gatekeeper & Reception:** Manage incoming phone calls with high professionalism, clear communication, and excellent phone etiquette.
* **Calendar Management:** Coordinate Dr. Sykes’s schedule, book meetings, and ensure no scheduling conflicts.
* **Research & Reporting:** Conduct research on relevant industry trends, community resources, or potential partnerships, and compile findings.

#### **2. Digital Marketing & Content Management**

* **Social Media & Design:** Design eye-catching graphics and content templates using tools like **Canva** or Adobe. Manage and schedule content across all channels.
* **Website Upkeep:** Handle routine updates, text edits, landing pages, or product/service listings on platforms like **Wix** and **Shopify**.
* **Presentation Design:** Research, structure, and visually polish PowerPoint or Google Slides presentations for speaking engagements, training sessions, or pitch meetings.

### **Qualifications & Requirements**

* **Mission Alignment:** A strong interest, background, or passion for **special education, behavioral health, or mental health initiatives**.
* **Communication:** Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (must be comfortable and articulate on the phone).
* **Tech-Savvy:** Tech literacy is a must, specifically with **Wix, Shopify, G-Suite, and social media scheduling tools**.
* **Design Eye:** Strong graphic design skills and experience building high-quality presentations.
* **Organization:** Highly organized self-starter who can manage multiple moving pieces without letting things slip through the cracks.
