Leasing Specialist

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in US property management and related roles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with leasing procedures and AppFolio is a plus.

Scope of Work:
• Respond to all leads received within 24 hours of receiving inquiry.
• Lease all vacant units for a territory of properties, and pre-lease all units on notice.
• Schedule property tours and sell features and benefits of available homes and community amenities to prospective residents.
• Perform background checks, credit checks, and all other pre-lease qualifying information within 24 hours of receipt of application.

• Follow up with all applicants about their application status, notifying them of approval/denial. Ensure the communication is being captured using our property management software - Appfolio.
• Input data entry to communicate with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers on status of vacant units.
• Explain all lease terms to residents and execute leasing contract.
• Input correct rent charges and information for the leasing contract with the Resident Specialist to ensure an accurate and smooth move-in for our future tenant.
• Manage multiple leasing email aliases for the company, directing messages to the appropriate respondent.
• Verify accuracy on Leasing Specialists checklists.
• Seasonal data auditing to ensure accuracy within company systems and softwares.
• Answer phone calls to the office/work cell and return all voicemails.
• Market available properties, updating descriptions, pricing and photos as needed.
