Deal & Executive Operations Associate (Remote)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable, resourceful, and intellectually curious Deal & Executive Operations Associate to serve as the right hand to an entrepreneur, investor, and acquisition executive.
This is a unique hybrid role combining executive assistance, research, business development, investor support, and strategic operations. The ideal candidate enjoys learning new industries, researching companies, finding opportunities, building relationships, and helping an executive operate at a higher level.
You will work directly with the Founder on acquisitions, investments, business development, executive administration, travel planning, networking, and special projects.
This is not a traditional administrative assistant position. We are looking for a Swiss Army knife who can think independently, solve problems, and execute with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
M&A and Investment Research
Research industries, markets, and investment themes
Identify acquisition targets and attractive companies
Build prospect lists and market maps
Analyze company websites, financial information, and business models
Prepare concise investment summaries and briefing materials
Summarize industry reports, articles, podcasts, and research
Monitor sectors of interest and surface new opportunities
Business Development & Outreach
Develop lists of CEOs, founders, owners, and executives
Conduct outreach through
Schedule introductory meetings
Track outreach campaigns and follow-up activity
Maintain CRM records and relationship notes
Help expand professional networks and sourcing channels
Executive Support
Manage
Draft
Coordinate calendar and scheduling
Prepare meeting agendas and follow-up notes
Track action items and ensure completion
Organize files, documents, and projects
Research & Intelligence
Conduct deep-dive research on people, companies, industries, and trends
Monitor competitors and market developments
Identify conferences, events, and networking opportunities
Prepare briefing books before meetings
Find relevant contacts and relationship pathways
Personal Operations
Research and coordinate travel
Build travel itineraries
Assist with reservations and logistics
Research family travel, schools, activities, and personal projects
Help manage personal administrative tasks
LinkedIn & Relationship Management
Maintain and optimize LinkedIn presence
Identify interesting executives, founders, investors, and operators
Recommend networking opportunities
Draft LinkedIn messages and outreach campaigns
Track important relationships and follow-ups
Special Projects
Solve ad hoc business and personal problems
Create presentations, spreadsheets, and reports
Assist with recruiting efforts
Coordinate vendors and service providers
Support portfolio company initiatives when needed

Preferred Qualifications
3–8 years of experience in executive assistance, consulting, private equity, investment banking, executive recruiting, business development, venture capital, or startup operations
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc.)
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and automation platforms
Ability to synthesize complex information into concise summaries
