We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Virtual Assistant to support our home care agency’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping. This role requires strong knowledge of QuickBooks and experience handling financial transactions, invoicing, and payroll. Experience in handling transactions for a Home Care business is a PLUS.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
Assist with payroll processing
Generate financial reports and summaries for management.
Ensure compliance with tax and accounting regulations.
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Respond to accounting inquiries and support audits as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Process LOA for payment from different partners
Handle client inquiries and concerns
Requirements & Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Accounting Virtual Assistant, Bookkeeper, or similar role.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop (Certification is a plus).
Strong understanding of accounting principles, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
Experience in healthcare or home care industry accounting is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other accounting software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely.
