In my years as a UP Civil Engineering student, I built STAAD models, developed Excel–VBA tools to automate structural calculations, and created clean AutoCAD drawings for my projects. Now I am a fresh grad looking for real engineering work where I can apply these skills and contribute to meaningful projects.
I am highly proficient in using AutoCAD, including its advanced features and customization tools. I have developed multiple dynamic blocks for faster drafting process, and I have created customized pen plot styles that remain fully compliant with company drafting standards. Additionally, I apply the National CAD Standard (NCS) to ensure consistency, clarity, and industry-standard documentation practices in all drawings.
I have modeled multi-story buildings, including a 3D truss and frame model of a two-story research laboratory building at UPLB, applied loads and boundary conditions, performed structural analysis, and produced design outputs for reinforced concrete and steel members. I am confident in handling real-world projects independently and delivering accurate, reliable results.
Experience: 1 - 2 years
I have 1–2 years of academic experience in structural design while studying at UP, with strong skills in steel design and a solid foundation in reinforced concrete. I particularly enjoy foundation design and applying engineering principles to solve real-world problems. While I haven’t yet worked professionally, I am confident in my ability to produce accurate and practical structural designs.
Experience: Less than 6 months
I know the fundamentals of Visual Basic and can write functional code, often leveraging AI-assisted coding to speed up development. I have created multiple engineering calculators, including an automatic isolated square footing designer, which is one of my best projects.
