I believe that I have acquired sufficient skills in accounting by finishing my Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, passing the Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountant, rendering an internship in an Accounting and Auditing firm and serving as the Chief Accountant in a level 2 hospital. I did not give myself a 100% score because I believe that are still room for improvement and learnings.

My relevant experience with accounts receivable is reconciliation.

One of my main roles as the chief accountant is to prepare monthly financial statements which already includes updating the lapsing schedule, verifying the accounts receivable and payable and bank reconciliation.

I believe that there are still many things that I can learn specially if the company is not related to healthcare facilities like hospital

Reconciliations are generally time-consuming. I do not really like reconciliations except bank reconciliations.

I have a little experience when it come to accounts payable since we had a credit and collection officer.

I do give my insights on the operational efficiency and effectivity of the company base on the ratios and trends of the income statement accounts.

When I started as the chief accountant only the pharmacy department and central stock room undergoes inventory counting every month. Upon checking the inventories of the other departments the value is significant so I suggested a monthly counting in the other departments as well. By doing that every department is accountable to their shortage.

Since I am the chief accountant I play a role in determining the price of the procedures. Other than that, I do not have relevant experience.
