Bookkeeper

I was an audit associate on August 2023 to May 2024 at LC Bonguyan & Co. It's a small auditing firm here in the Philippines. During my time there, I was able to experience bookkeeping and auditing financial statements of our different clients. I was able to apply my skills in terms of being keen to details and apply my analyzing skills.

Currently, I am working on a one of big 4 accounting firms in the Philippines, and as an Audit Associate at one of the Big Four accounting firms in the Philippines, I am responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of financial statement audits for a diverse portfolio of clients across industries such as financial services, manufacturing, and consumer goods. My role involves performing risk assessments, identifying key audit areas, and executing audit procedures in accordance with IFRS, local GAAP, and regulatory standards. I prepare audit working papers, document findings, and ensure compliance with the firm’s quality control policies. I work closely with clients to gather audit evidence, address inquiries, and resolve issues efficiently. I also collaborate with senior associates and managers in drafting financial statements, audit reports, and management letters. Leveraging audit tools and data analytics, I contribute to enhancing audit accuracy and efficiency. My experience has strengthened my technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines under pressure. I also take part in mentoring new team members and continuously participate in training programs to stay updated with the latest auditing and accounting standards.
