JOB OVERVIEW

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced technician to join our team as an Amazon Connect UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) Configuration Technician.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and configuring Amazon Connect UCaaS solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their requirements and design, implement, and manage Amazon Connect solutions tailored to their needs.

This role requires a strong understanding of cloud-based contact center technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and design Amazon Connect UCaaS solutions accordingly.
2. Configure Amazon Connect instances, including setting up contact flows, queues, routing profiles, and integrations with other AWS services.
3. Customize Amazon Connect to meet specific client needs, such as creating custom reporting, implementing workforce management solutions, and integrating with CRM systems.
4. Test and troubleshoot Amazon Connect configurations to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
5. Provide technical guidance and support to clients during the implementation and post-implementation phases.
6. Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, developers, and support engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
7. Stay up-to-date with Amazon Connect features and best practices and recommend improvements to existing configurations.
8. Document configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and support future troubleshooting efforts.
9. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

**Requirements:**
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
2. Proven experience (2+ years) in configuring and managing Amazon Connect or similar cloud-based contact center solutions.
3. Strong understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud computing concepts.
4. Proficiency in AWS services relevant to Amazon Connect, such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFormation.
5. Experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript for automation and customization tasks.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
7. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
9. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) preferred but not required.
10. Experience with other contact center platforms (e.g., Genesys, Avaya) is a plus.
