JOB OVERVIEW

WAMA Underwear is the leading sustainable hemp underwear brand providing customers with a unique feel of natural comfort, breathability, and antibacterial properties.

We are looking for an experienced Virtual Assistant who will focus on Customer Support, as well as some key Administrative tasks.

Customer support is where your role begins, not ends. You will be trained to take on other administrative and operational projects, depending on what is needed at the time.

Who is this position for?
A quick learner who can adapt to change. Someone who is good with operations and comfortable using AI tools who wants to grow and learn new skills.

Who is this position NOT for?
Someone who wants to only work on customer support and have a simple, repetitive job.

The role entails managing various forms of correspondence with customers and other WAMA tea ---------- mbers. Some other tasks will include basic Shopify administrative work, organizing files and data in Excel and Google Drive, and other administrative tasks. As you grow with the company, there will be more opportunities to take on additional responsibilities. It's important to be comfortable interacting with our customers and tea ---------- mbers regularly and promptly, as most communication is done over email and Slack.

An ideal candidate would have:
Experience with Gorgias, Shopify, Canva or similar platforms
Comfort working in Excel and Google Drive (spreadsheets, organizing files and data)
Comfort using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, AI image generators, Gemini Nano Banana, etc.)
Excellent communication skills both with customers and with other tea ---------- mbers
Experience responding to customer emails and providing knowledgeable support
The ability to utilize resources and resolve issues quickly
A fast learner who is always eager to learn and take on new challenges
The ability to mirror the tone and style of the brand in all communications
Have daily availability to respond to inbound communications in a timely manner
The drive to take ownership of projects and responsibilities


REQUIREMENTS:
Applicant must speak English
At least 1 year relevant experience in customer support or related field
Excellent written communication skills
Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets)
Ability to work 6 days a week
