Do NOT apply unless you have at least 1 year of hands-on experience sourcing products from Chinese suppliers (Alibaba, 1688, or trade shows). Administrative-only experience will not be considered.

We are looking for an experienced Product Sourcing Virtual Assistant to research and contact manufacturers on Alibaba on behalf of our company. This is a focused sourcing role - not general VA work.

What you will do:
-Search Alibaba for manufacturers based on product briefs provided by the owner
-Vet suppliers (Gold Supplier status, Trade Assurance, certifications, reviews)
-Send inquiry emails to manufacturers using provided templates
-Follow up on non-responses after 48 hours
-Log all supplier responses into a Google Sheets tracker (pricing, MOQ, lead time, certifications, payment terms)
-Prepare a weekly summary report of all sourcing activity
-Coordinate sample requests once suppliers are approved

Requirements:
-Must have hands-on Alibaba sourcing experience - this is non-negotiable
-Strong written English - you are communicating directly with manufacturers
-Proficient in Google Sheets
-Highly organized and detail-oriented
-Can work independently with minimal supervision

Nice to have:
Experience sourcing in Med Spa products & children's toys
Familiarity with Incoterms (FOB, EXW)
Experience requesting and reviewing product certifications (ASTM, CE, etc.)
