Video Editor

Compensation: $6-7/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality content. This role requires expertise in editing, motion graphics, color grading, sound design, and AI-assisted content creation. Key Responsibilities

Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, professional final videos
Perform color correction and color grading to ensure visual consistency and quality
Create motion graphics, animations, text overlays, image pop-ins, and dynamic transitions
Handle sound design, including music selection, audio cleanup, sound effects, and audio mixing
Execute green screen (chroma key) editing and compositing when needed
Create and incorporate AI-generated images and videos into content projects
Edit and optimize short-form content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Design supporting graphics, visual assets, and thumbnails
Collaborate with the team to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives

Required Skills & Experience

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
Strong experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animation
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
Strong understanding of color correction and color grading techniques
Experience with audio editing, sound design, and mixing
Knowledge of green screen keying and compositing workflows
Experience using AI image and video generation tools such as Midjourney, Runway, Sora, Kling, or similar platforms
Proven experience creating content for social media platforms
Strong attention to detail and storytelling ability

Stays current with video editing trends, platform updates, and emerging AI tools
