Shopify Assistant (Store Operations & QA)

Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Shopify Assistant to support day-to-day store operations for mid-market to high scale DTC merchants running on Shopify and Shopify Plus. You'll work directly with our Shopify experts with 10+ years of experience, handling the hands-on execution work — product and metafield updates, content changes, and routine QA — while learning their approach to store management, app strategy, and AI-assisted workflows.

The ideal candidate is comfortable with detailed, repetitive manual work inside the Shopify admin, has a sharp eye for catching errors, and can follow instructions precisely while flagging issues proactively.

Key Responsibilities

- Update and maintain products, collections, metafields, tags, and categories
- Perform manual data entry and bulk updates to product information
- Create and update blog content and website pages
- Assist with store updates, promotions, and merchandising activities
- Support minor website customizations and layout adjustments
- Run routine store QA and health checks across products, navigation, promotions, and checkout
- Spot-check live site pages for broken links, formatting issues, and inconsistencies
- Coordinate with internal team members on website updates and ongoing initiatives

Technical Qualifications

- 1+ years of hands-on experience working inside the Shopify admin
- Experience updating products, collections, tags, categories, pages, metafields, and blogs
- Comfortable with repetitive, detail-heavy manual tasks
- Basic understanding of Shopify themes and theme settings
- Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) to speed up daily tasks

Job Type: Full Time
Work Setup: Remote (work laptop not provided)
Schedule: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM PH Time
Salary Range: ?25,000 – ?35,000/month
