WolfeCo Media is a growing digital marketing agency based in Alabama, USA. We specialize in building high-performing websites for construction and home service companies that generate leads and help our clients increase revenue.

We're looking for an experienced WordPress Website Designer & Developer who can build lead-generating, mobile-friendly, websites in a timely manner.

This is a long-term opportunity for whomever we hire.

*Our Hiring Process

Before making a final hiring decision, we will invite a few finalists to complete a paid test project. This allows both parties to see how we work together on a real website before committing to a long-term relationship.

For anyone we choose to work on the test project, you'll be compensated for your time.

*What the Role Entails
Design and build custom WordPress websites using Elementor
Create modern, clean, mobile-first websites with exceptional UX/UI
Develop websites that load quickly and perform well
Implement on-page SEO best practices during development
Optimize Core Web Vitals and overall website performance
Build landing pages for marketing campaigns
Update, maintain, and improve existing client websites
Troubleshoot website issues when they arise
Work closely with our content and account management teams
Ensure every website is conversion-focused and built to generate leads
Provide graphic design as needed

*Required Skills
You should be highly proficient in:
WordPress
Elementor Pro
Responsive web design
UX/UI design principles
HTML & CSS
Basic PHP knowledge
Website speed optimization
Technical SEO
On-page SEO
Schema markup
Google PageSpeed optimization
Image optimization
Website security best practices

*The Right Candidate
You are someone who:
Has an exceptional eye for design
Builds websites quickly without sacrificing quality
Understands the importance of websites as they pertain to marketing

These are not required but are a huge plus:
Figma
Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)
Local SEO experience
Experience with construction or home service companies
Google Analytics
Google Search Console
Hosting platforms like WP Engine or Cloudways
Familiarity with AI tools to improve efficiency
