Key Responsibilities:

• Research trending stories, viral events, and popular figures across entertainment, music, and celebrity news.
• Write factual, engaging scripts with hooks that grab the audience’s attention immediately, keeping them engaged throughout the video.
• Follow a detailed script structure, incorporating mid-video re-hooks to maintain audience retention.
• Ensure that every script aligns with viral and YouTube-optimized storytelling techniques.
• Weave in social media commentary, fan reactions, and expert opinions, using these elements to enhance the script’s depth.
• Maintain a consistent tone and style, crafting scripts at a 9th-grade reading level.
• Work under deadlines to deliver high-quality, ready-to-read scripts for production.
• Adapt to feedback and continuously improve content to keep it current and relevant.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in scriptwriting, journalism, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of pop culture, celebrity news, and current viral trends.
• Ability to research stories quickly and effectively to include factual details and context.
• Excellent storytelling skills with a focus on engaging, conversational, and viral content.
• Ability to write 1500-word scripts that follow a structured format (intro, context, details, opinions, fan reactions, outro).
• Attention to detail and commitment to factual accuracy.
• Familiarity with YouTube, TikTok, and social media trends.
• Proficiency in creating re-hooks to keep audiences engaged in long-form content.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Preferred:

• Experience writing for YouTube channels, blogs, or online publications.
• Understanding of SEO, social media trends, and YouTube algorithm factors that influence audience engagement.
• A creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for writing viral content.
