Sales Development Representative (SDR) — Outbound Caller
We are a US-based web services company. We build and host websites for small businesses across the country and manage their SEO month to month. No contracts, no setup fees — flat monthly rate, real results.
You are on the setter side of our sales team. Leads come in warm — our automated outreach has already texted them before you call. You are not cold calling from a list. You are calling US business owners who have already been contacted and showed interest.
Your job on every call is straightforward. Introduce yourself and BizWise, build enough trust for the prospect to agree to a free website preview, ask discovery questions about their current site and what is not working, quote the correct plan, and lock a specific day and time for our closer to call them back — before you hang up. Then you file an accurate entry in our CRM with everything you learned. That is the full job. You are not closing deals. You are setting the table for our closer. Your numbers are measured by how many of your booked appointments actually connect and convert.
RESPONSIBILITIES
— Call warm leads during US business hours and qualify them for a free website preview
— Run discovery on every call — learn what the prospect does, what their site looks like, what is not working, and what they want changed
— Quote the correct plan — $79/month Premium or $249/month Elite
— Lock a confirmed follow-up appointment with a specific day and time before ending every qualifying call
— Log every call, appointment time, and special instruction from the prospect in Close CRM immediately after hanging up
— Submit accurate Preview Entries — correct site type, correct domain, correct contact info, detailed notes from the call
— Show up to weekly call audits and team syncs
REQUIREMENTS
— Clear, confident spoken English — you will be on the phone with US business owners all day
— Prior phone sales, SDR, or customer service experience strongly preferred
— Comfortable with rejection — you move to the next call, you do not freeze
— Stable internet and a quiet workspace with a quality headset
— Available during US Central business hours
— Familiarity with CRM software (we use
— Coachable — we audit call transcripts weekly and will tell you exactly what you are doing wrong
— Minimum B2 English level (test required — see below)
NOT A FIT IF
You quote whatever price it takes to keep a prospect on the phone. You hang up without a locked appointment. You do not know what you are selling after two weeks on the team. You treat CRM entries as optional. We audit everything.
COMPENSATION
$450/month base. Commission unlocks once you hit 35 launches in a calendar month. Below 35, you earn base only. Hit the gate and the rate applies retroactively to every launch that month from number one — not just the ones above the threshold.
Tier 1 — 35 to 64 launches: $27 per launch (retroactive to launch #1)
Tier 2 — 65+ launches: $40 per launch (retroactive to launch #1)

That jump between 64 and 65 launches is worth over $800 in a single month. That is not a rounding error — it is the whole design of the plan. Volume protects you and the structure rewards it.
New reps start on a 90-day ramp. Month 1 gate is 15 launches. Month 2 gate is 20. Hit the gate each month and commission unlocks retroactively on everything you closed, same rules as the full plan. Full plan activates at Month 3.
One accountability rule: if a client you originated churns within 30 days of launch, that launch is pulled from your count before commission runs. Churn drops you below gate, the month's commission is gone. Volume protects you. Sitting right at the gate does not.
