What You'll Do

As our Bookkeeper, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records for multiple clients while ensuring timely processing of day-to-day accounting transactions.

Responsibilities include:

Process accounts payable by entering and coding vendor bills and invoices across multiple client accounts
Categorize and reconcile bank transactions in QuickBooks Online on a regular basis (minimum weekly review)
Manage ---------- workflows, including bill entry, approvals, and vendor records
Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date books through monthly reconciliations
Support high-volume accounts payable for restaurant and marina clients
Communicate professionally with vendors regarding invoice and payment status
Monitor and manage the accounts payable email inbox
Collaborate with the accounting team by providing timely updates and resolving discrepancies

What We're Looking For
(Required Qualifications)

2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably supporting US-based clients
Hands-on experience using QuickBooks Online
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and transaction coding
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated remote workspace
Availability to overlap with US Eastern Time business hours
Ability to manage multiple clients while meeting deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with hospitality, hotel, restaurant, marina, or property management accounting
Experience using ---------- or similar AP automation platforms
Accounting degree, bookkeeping certification, or equivalent experience
