QA Tester Intern

Layer Insights is a fast-growing SaaS platform that helps e-commerce merchants understand exactly how their business is performing. Think of it as a smart dashboard that pulls data from advertising platforms, marketplaces, and analytics tools — and turns it into clear, actionable insights. We are building something ambitious, and we need sharp eyes to make sure every feature we ship works exactly as intended.

The Role
You will be our dedicated QA intern, responsible for testing every new feature, flow, and update before it goes live. You will work closely with the development team, document bugs with precision, and help us maintain a high-quality product our users can rely on. This is a hands-on role where your feedback directly shapes the product.

What You Will Do
? Test new features, UI components, and user flows across the platform before each release
? Write clear and detailed bug reports including steps to reproduce, expected behavior, and actual behavior
? Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not broken by new updates
? Test across different browsers and screen sizes to ensure a consistent experience
? Maintain and update test cases as the product evolves
? Communicate findings clearly and proactively to the development team

What We Are Looking For
Required:
? Strong attention to detail — you catch what others miss
? Clear written English communication skills
? Basic understanding of how web applications work
? Ability to work independently and manage your own tasks
Nice to have:
? Prior experience with QA or bug tracking tools (e.g. Linear, Notion, Jira)
? Familiarity with e-commerce or SaaS products
? Basic knowledge of browser developer tools
