About Us
Iacofano's Catering & Events is a growing multi-location catering company serving corporate catering, private aviation catering, events, and hospitality clients throughout the United States.
We operate locations in Charleston, Columbia, Charlotte, and Cleveland and are currently implementing MarketMan and preparing for future Microsoft Dynamics integration.
We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Systems Coordinator to help us improve inventory control, reduce food costs, reduce emergency store runs, and build world-class purchasing systems.
This is not a simple data-entry position.
We are looking for someone who enjoys analyzing data, identifying problems, improving processes, and helping a company become more efficient and profitable.
This position has significant long-term growth potential and may develop into a Corporate Purchasing Manager role.

Your Mission
Your primary mission will be to help reduce food costs, improve purchasing controls, eliminate unnecessary emergency purchases, and maintain accurate inventory and recipe systems.
You will initially focus on implementing and maintaining MarketMan and then help support future Microsoft Dynamics integration.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Recipe Management
-Build and maintain MarketMan databases
-Enter and maintain inventory items
-Enter and maintain recipes
-Verify ingredient costs
-Maintain recipe costing information
-Organize inventory categories
-Maintain item specifications and pack sizes
-Build inventory count sheets
-Maintain inventory accuracy
Purchasing & Cost Control
-Review vendor pricing
-Compare costs between vendors
-Monitor product pricing trends
-Identify cost-saving opportunities
-Review purchasing reports
-Research alternative products and suppliers
-Assist leadership with purchasing recommendations
Emergency Purchase & Store Run Reduction
-Track all emergency purchases
-Track all store runs
-Identify recurring shortages
-Analyze purchasing trends
-Identify root causes of emergency purchases
-Recommend inventory and ordering improvements
-Help reduce emergency store runs by 50%
Vendor Management
-Maintain vendor database
-Update vendor pricing
-Track vendor performance
-Maintain supplier contact information
-Research new products and vendors
Reporting & Analytics
-Create weekly purchasing reports
-Create inventory reports
-Create cost-control reports
-Track emergency spending
-Analyze food cost trends
-Build management dashboards and reports
Future Systems Support
-Support Microsoft Dynamics implementation
-Maintain item master database
-Maintain recipe database
-Support future automation and reporting projects
