About the Role:
The Excel Operations Analyst supports core billing workflows within Self Bill Pro’s Manual Data Operations (MDO) team, working primarily in Excel to manage, clean, and structure complex data.
This role is hands-on and execution-focused, requiring you to work through high-volume, often imperfect datasets to ensure accurate invoicing and reconciliation. You’ll transform raw inputs, identify inconsistencies, and produce reliable outputs that power our billing processes.

While there are established workflows, success in this role requires independent problem-solving and sound judgment when working through unclear or incomplete data.
This is not a traditional business analyst role. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, strong in Excel, and comfortable balancing structured processes with practical, day-to-day data problem solving in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
Work directly in Excel to manage, clean, and transform data used in billing workflows
Execute data preparation for invoicing and reconciliation across multiple clients
Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies, inconsistencies, and missing information
Perform detailed data validation and quality checks prior to output delivery
Support plan setup and billing preparation activities for new and existing clients
Work through incomplete or unclear datasets, applying judgment to move work forward accurately
Maintain and update Excel files, templates, and structured datasets
Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely data delivery
Identify recurring data issues and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications:
Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, lookups, data manipulation, and efficient handling of large datasets
Experience working with large, complex, or high-volume datasets
Proven ability to clean, validate, and transform data from multiple sources
High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and auditability
Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies
Comfortable working with incomplete or unclear data, applying judgment to move work forward
Ability to follow structured processes while also adapting when needed
Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Required shift of US ET business hours (8pm–5am PHT), with potential transition to a second shift (3pm–12am PHT) following onboarding

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in employee benefits, insurance, or HR-related operations
Familiarity with billing, invoicing, or reconciliation workflows
Experience working with structured data formats (e.g., CSV, XML, LDE/LDEX)
Exposure to process improvement or workflow optimization in a data-heavy environment
Advanced Excel capabilities (e.g., Power Query, dynamic arrays, VBA/scripting)

**Compensation is structured as monthly base pay before night differential, reflecting the scheduled working hours for this role. Scheduled hours are intended to align with U.S. Eastern Time. The 13th month pay is provided in addition to the stated base compensation in accordance with local requirements. **
