Job Description
You build a tight radio edit from our voice-over, source suitable Public Domain/CC footage, and add light animation (Ken Burns, parallax/2.5D, lower thirds, year titles, map pins). You ensure a solid audio mix and basic color correction, and deliver YouTube-ready exports plus well-organized project files.
Responsibilities
Radio edit and timing based on the provided VO (place markers/chapters).
Source and curate footage (Wikimedia, Library of Congress, NARA) with correct attribution.
Apply Ken Burns and light parallax; maintain consistent lower thirds / title cards / year slates.
Audio mix: high-pass, de-esser, compression, music ducking; limiter to ?1 dBTP (target ?14 LUFS).
Basic color correction for a uniform look.
Requirements
Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (advanced level).
After Effects or Fusion for simple motion (lower thirds, 2.5D).
Strong sense of pacing for photo-driven edits (image change approx. every 3–5 seconds).
Experience with Public Domain/CC materials and proper crediting.
Clear communication in English is a plus.
