E-Commerce & Web Developer / Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Web Developer and Administrator to build, maintain, and secure our online presence. This role involves creating two distinct platforms from scratch and ensuring their long-term security, content updates, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
Website Development:

Build and design a fully functional Shopify store tailored for e-commerce.

Develop a traditional website (e.g., WordPress or similar CMS) for brand presence.

Ensure both websites are fully responsive, professional, and optimized for mobile and desktop users.

Maintenance & Content Management:

Regularly update the websites with new product uploads, content descriptions, and general information.

Perform routine technical updates to plugins, themes, and core software.

Monitor site speed and optimize overall performance.

Security & Monitoring:

Implement robust security measures to protect against hacking, malware, and outside interference.

Conduct regular security audits and backups to prevent data loss.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Platform Expertise: Proven experience building and launching Shopify stores and traditional websites.

Web Development & Design: Strong understanding of web design best practices, HTML/CSS, and e-commerce workflows.

Data Entry & Accuracy: Attention to detail when inputting products and managing store inventory.

Cybersecurity Basics: Knowledge of web security protocols, SSL certificates, and malware prevention.

Proactive Management: Ability to independently check and secure the websites on a regular basis.

Job Details & Compensation
Job Type: Part-Time / Remote

Compensation: $100 USD every two weeks

Schedule: Flexible hours. You can choose your own hours as long as the required work is completed on time.

Growth Opportunity: This is an initial 6-month contract. After 6 months, we will re-evaluate your performance to determine eligibility for a full-time position.
