Core Responsibilities —
• Monitor
• Welcome new members and manage onboarding flows, including automated welcome/leave messages.
• Respond to member questions and route escalations to the appropriate tea
• Mute, warn, or remove members who violate community rules, spam, or engage in disruptive behavior.
• Organize and maintain channel structure, pinned resources, and role assignments.
• Track recurring issues, member sentiment, or trends and report them back to leadership.
• Help run or support community engagement activities (polls, giveaways, Q&As, discussions).
Core Responsibilities —
• Design and build out
• Set up and configure bots for moderation, welcome/leave automation, verification, and engagement (e.g., leveling, giveaways, ticketing).
• Create and maintain role hierarchies and permission sets aligned with membership tiers (e.g., free vs. paid access).
• Build onboarding flows, rules channels, FAQs, and resource hubs to reduce repetitive support questions.
• Continuously audit server layout and engagement data to identify friction points and optimize channel flow.
• Recommend and implement new features, integrations, or server-wide changes to improve retention and engagement.
• Document server architecture and configuration for internal reference and handoff.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
• Prior experience moderating a
• Demonstrated experience building or restructuring
• Working knowledge of
• Strong written communication skills and a calm, professional tone when handling conflict.
• Reliable availability during peak community activity hours.
Preferred / Nice to Have:
• Familiarity with the community's subject matter/niche.

Growth Opportunity
• Starting rate: $5.00 / hour.
• At the 3-month mark, rate increases to $7.00 / hour, contingent on satisfactory performance and consistent delivery against the responsibilities outlined in this SOW.
• At the 6-month mark, rate and scope will be reviewed together to determine next steps (continued increase, expanded hours, or expanded responsibilities).
