JOB DESCRIPTION
This is an energetic, hands-on role for a strong writer and builder, not a high-level strategist. Best suited for:
- Strong at writing and execution
- Organized and consistent
- Comfortable using AI tools to create content (written and creative)

WHO WE ARE
We are a growing MSP serving construction companies in the NYC market. Our clients rely on us to keep job sites running, prevent downtime, and protect their business from costly disruptions. We are looking for a Marketing Manager who can clearly communicate business risk, drive consistent content, and help generate inbound opportunities.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This role is responsible for owning and executing our marketing content engine — with a strong focus on:

Writing high-quality LinkedIn content
Translating technical IT services into real business impact
Maintaining consistent output
Using AI to improve speed and quality
Supporting lead generation through content

You should be someone who thinks in terms of business outcomes, not just marketing activity.


WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. High-Quality Content Creation (Primary Focus)
Write 3–4 high-quality LinkedIn posts per week
Tailor messaging specifically to:
Construction business owners
Office managers and operations teams

Translate IT topics into:
Downtime costs
Project delays
Financial and operational risk

Example: Instead of “cybersecurity protection,” you think “What happens when your team can’t access plans on a job site?”

2. Content Repurposing & Short-Form Video
Turn written content into 2–3 short-form videos weekly
Create simple, engaging videos using tools like Canva and CapCut
Focus on:
Strong hooks
Clear captions
Business-relevant messaging

3. AI-Driven Content Production
Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to:
Generate ideas
Draft and expand content
Increase output efficiency

Refine and edit AI outputs to ensure they are:
Natural
High-quality
Not generic

4. Marketing Calendar Ownership
Plan and maintain a 2–4 week rolling content calendar
Ensure all content is:
Scheduled
Delivered on time
Aligned with business priorities

5. Performance Awareness & Optimization
Focus on generating inbound interest (not just posting)
Track engagement trends (likes, comments, inbound messages)
Identify which topics resonate best with our audience
Adjust topics and messaging based on engagement to improve results

6. Lead Generation Support (Critical Outcome)
Create content that encourages:
Conversations
Inbound inquiries
Prospect interest
Align messaging with sales goals

REQUIREMENTS
Strong English writing with a natural, professional “American” tone in plain speak
Proven ability to write B2B content that is clear and persuasive
Ability to translate technical topics into business value
Experience using AI tools effectively (not just basic prompting)
Strong organizational skills and consistent execution
Ability to work independently and take ownership

Highly Preferred
Experience with MSPs, IT services, or B2B industries
Experience writing for non-technical audiences (construction, trades, SMBs)
Understanding of business risk, operations, financial impact messaging

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Consistent posting (3–4x/week) without delays
Clear improvement in content quality and messaging
