JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT THE BUSINESS
Hi! I'm Lisa, a Canadian artist and educator. I have an online art membership, courses and monthly webinars, and I’m about to start my YouTube channel. As my business continues to grow, I'm looking for a reliable and creative Virtual Assistant who enjoys working behind the scenes and wants to become an important part of a small but growing business.

ABOUT THE ROLE
-This is a flexible, part-time position with most weeks requiring approximately 3-5 hours, although some projects may require up to 10 hours.
-One day each month (dates will be set in advance), you'll join me during a live webinar as my webinar buddy for 3-4 hours.
-As the business grows, I expect both the hours and responsibilities to grow as well.
-Most projects will have a 2-3 business day turnaround, so there are very few last-minute deadlines. I value thoughtful, accurate work over rushed work.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Your work will vary from week to week and may include:

Supporting one live webinar each month by:
-Monitoring the chat
-Gathering audience questions + asking me them during the webinar when appropriate or during Q&A time
-Helping attendees troubleshoot simple technical issues
-Specific tasks to complete following the webinar

Working in Kajabi:
-Email sequences, automations, forms, landing pages (editing/creation)

Editing videos in CapCut (NOTE: I’m starting my YouTube channel soon, and video editing will be taking on a larger roll):
-Long-form and short-form videos
-Captions, basic graphics, transitions

Creating Canva graphics, including:
-PDF workbooks, checklists, lead magnets
-YouTube thumbnails + social media graphics
(Brand guidelines will be provided)

Experience using Excel/Numbers or Google Sheets
-inputting/updating member registrations
-inputting sales, discounts and refunds
-Keeping business data organized and accurate

Be Organized
-Helping keep projects organized and moving forward by communicating progress and asking questions whenever clarification is needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be considered, you should have experience with:
-Kajabi, including knowledge of landing page editing, email sequences + automations?-Canva, creating polished, professional PDFs and graphics?-CapCut video editing?-Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Gmail)
-Microsoft Excel/Numbers or Google Sheets
-Excellent spoken and written English

Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace suitable for participating in live Zoom webinars, handling large video files, and working with cloud-based applications.

NICE TO HAVE
These aren't required, but they're definitely a bonus:
- Experience working inside an online education or coaching business?, Basic copywriting?- AI tools such as ChatGPT to improve productivity while maintaining accuracy?, Basic knowledge of email marketing

SCHEDULE
-This is an HOURLY, ON-DEMAND position.
-Typical workload: Most weeks: 3-5 hours. Occasionally: up to 10 hours during larger projects
-One requirement is non-negotiable: You must be available one day each month from approximately 11:00 am PST for 3-4 hours to support a live webinar. You’ll receive plenty of advance notice of these dates.
-National holidays will be taken into account.
-Outside of the monthly webinar, you are free to work whenever it suits your schedule, provided agreed deadlines are met.

I understand you may have other clients and that's completely fine. Reliability and communication are much more important than immediate availability.

TRAINING PROVIDED
-If you're strong in most areas but less experienced in one specific tool, I’m open to providing onboarding support.
-I'll provide brand guidelines, templates, and clear SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all recurring tasks.
