Comptroller

Position Overview

The Comptroller is a senior financial leadership position responsible for directing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and internal controls. This role provides strategic financial guidance to executive leadership while ensuring fiscal integrity and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead accounting operations including accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close.
• Prepare financial statements, executive reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Ensure GAAP, tax, payroll, and multi-state compliance.
• Coordinate audits and work with external auditors.
• Monitor cash flow and organizational financial performance.
• Supervise finance staff.
• Support executive leadership with financial analysis and recommendations.
• Drive continuous process improvements.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Healthcare staffing, government contracting, and multi-state payroll experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
