PxCFO is seeking a Cloud Accountant with experience in QuickBooks Online to join our expanding Online Accounting team.

How you'll make a difference:

Conducting accounting tasks utilizing cloud-based accounting software such as QuickBooks Online (QBO) and associated third-party applications like Hubdoc, this individual ensures accurate and efficient financial data management, streamlining processes for enhanced productivity and transparency.
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and internal management reports using QBO, which contributes to the overall financial health and strategic direction of the organization.
Handling GST and PST returns, this individual ensures compliance with tax regulations, minimizing the risk of penalties or audits and optimizing tax efficiency, thereby safeguarding the company's financial standing.
Onboarding new clients into QBO, including data file setup and conversion, this person fosters seamless transitions for clients, promoting positive initial experiences and building strong client relationships from the outset, enhancing client retention and satisfaction.
Providing client care and support, this individual delivers exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively, fostering trust and loyalty, and contributing to the firm's reputation for excellence in client service.

Who you are:

2+ years of experience in accounting, Cloud Accounting, or bookkeeping, preferably within a public practice firm
A robust understanding of QuickBooks Online features and workflow, with experience in Xero Accounting or Sage 50 considered advantageous.
CPA designated and experience working with Canadian and US companies.
