Architectural Technologist – Millwork & Cabinetry

About the Role:
Deslaurier Custom Cabinets is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our design and engineering team remotely from the Philippines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in millwork, cabinetry, or interior construction, with the ability to translate design concepts into precise, production-ready drawings.

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed shop drawings and technical documentation for millwork and cabinetry projects

Review and interpret architectural and interior design plans

Prepare cut lists, elevations, and section details for manufacturing

Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility

Support ongoing quality control and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or related field

Proficiency in AutoCAD is required

Experience with 2020 Design and/or IMOS iX is a strong asset

Minimum 3 years of millwork or cabinetry drafting experience

Strong attention to detail and understanding of materials, joinery, and construction methods

Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
