Architectural Designer

HELM Design Group, LLC is a small architect firm in League City Texas. We are looking for a new tea ---------- mber to assist our staff in creating beautiful unique buildings and spaces to meet the design goals of the clients who employ our firm. We want to see you grow in your skill set and become an integral part of our design team. The candidate must have extensive commercial architecture experience.

Helm Design Group is looking for your skill set to include the following.

Extensive Revit/BIM skills- Skill test will be required
Comprehensive knowledge enabling you to develop and prepare construction documents, plans, and details independently; execute red-marked revisions
Independently interpret and apply local code and IBC to projects
Evaluate and integrate engineering systems and implement code, accessibility, and zoning analyses: preferred.
Manage and execute design assignments independently and in a timely manner
Ability to review shop drawing and submittals
Organize and manage permit documents
Requirements

To join us, you should have:

A professional degree in Architecture, Design, or related discipline is preferred, but not required
7+ years of experience in detailing all structure types in Revit
7+ years of commercial architecture experience
Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software; Revit required.
Experience in all phases and aspects of a project
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn
Collaborative and professional work ethic
