We operate a high-volume Amazon resale business and are looking for a highly analytical, trustworthy, and experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee our final buying decisions.
Currently, we have a team of Virtual Assistants who source leads through Storefront Stalking and submit them for review. Your role is to serve as the final filter before company funds are spent. You will review submitted leads, verify their profitability and compliance with our purchasing criteria, and make the final decision on whether inventory should be purchased.
We currently spend $8,000–$10,000 per day on inventory. This means you will be responsible for helping manage significant capital. We are looking for someone who treats company money as if it were their own, makes decisions based strictly on data and ROI, and is interested in growing into our full-time Lead Purchaser.
?
How the Position Works
Phase 1: Paid Trial & Calibration (1–2 Weeks)
Your first phase is a paid trial where we’ll start with a limited number of purchasing decisions while we calibrate your judgment to our business.
During this phase, you will:
* Review leads submitted by our sourcing team.
* Verify all key metrics (Keepa history, SellerAmp data, IP risk, supplier legitimacy, etc.).
* Make mock or small-scale purchasing decisions.
* Receive detailed feedback to align your decision-making with our purchasing standards.
Phase 2: Scaling Up
As you demonstrate consistency and sound judgment, your purchasing authority will gradually increase. The goal is for you to eventually manage our full daily purchasing budget independently.
Phase 3: Full-Time Purchaser
Once fully calibrated, you will become the final gatekeeper for all inventory purchases. Your performance will be measured by the quality of your purchasing decisions, the ROI of approved products, and your ability to avoid bad buys.
