YouTube Video Editor for D&D / Therapy Channel (15- 30 hrs/week)

Hi! I’m Zach from Dragon’s Den Counseling. I use Dungeons & Dragons to help kids build confidence, social skills, and emotional insight through play. My YouTube channel is dedicated to showing parents, educators, and other therapists how powerful this game can be. I’ve already written 100+ fully scripted videos — now I need your help to bring them to life!

I’m looking for a creative, reliable, and detail-oriented video editor to join me long-term. You’ll be working with footage from an iPhone 16 Pro Max and audio from a Yeti mic. Most videos are 7–10 minutes long and follow a consistent structure.

We’ll begin at 10–15 hours/week and increase to 30 as we build our content rhythm.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Editing 2–3 videos per week using DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar
Syncing video + mic audio
Adding captions and key text overlays (from script)
Applying clean, minimal motion effects (slide-ins, popups)
Adding background music (I’ll provide options)
Uploading finished videos to YouTube Studio
Creating/adding thumbnails (optional — Canva templates provided)
Repurposing content into YouTube Shorts / vertical clips

What I’m Looking For:
At least 1 year of editing experience
Ability to follow a brand aesthetic: clean, friendly, minimal text
Familiar with Dungeons & Dragons or tabletop games (or willing to learn!)
Strong English and attention to timing/text
Reliable internet, good communication, and ability to meet deadlines
Bonus: You enjoy storytelling, games, or working on meaningful content!

• Canva (for thumbnails)
• YouTube Studio
