Wordpress Web Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites and applications for our clients. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail to ensure our websites are secure, high-performing, and user-friendly.

Daily Tasks:
- Site maintenance
- Website builds
- Plugin configuration
- Custom code (Javascript, PHP, JQuery)
- Support and troubleshooting

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize websites using WordPress.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress
- Collaborate closely with the development team to understand requirements and provide tailored WordPress solutions.
- Ensure website security, performance optimization, and regular data backups.
- Research, evaluate, and implement WordPress plugins, integrations, and third-party services.
- Provide support to clients on WordPress usage and maintenance best practices.
- Conduct website audits and performance analyses to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage website hosting, domain registration, and SSL certificate renewals.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with WordPress custom theme and plugin development.
- Familiarity with website performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with WordPress security best practices.
- Understanding of REST API and third-party integrations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related technical issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Knowledge of cloud hosting environments
- Knowledge of SEO principles and their implementation in WordPress.
