Website Designer (Permanent Work from Home)

Job Description:
We're a digital marketing agency in the U.S. looking for a web designer who is an expert in designing custom website designs for WordPress and Beaver Builder.

If you’re a talented, creative, reliable, and experienced WordPress designer with great attention to detail, we’d love for you to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a skilled WordPress designer with experience in both the design and development of new websites, landing pages, etc. and ongoing website maintenance. We are looking for someone ready to hit the ground running and take on projects immediately with little to no training.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Design and create visually appealing and user-friendly websites using the latest web design technologies and tools.
Design and create visually appealing print marketing materials.
Review detailed onboarding notes to gather requirements and understand project goals.
Develop high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas with the client.
Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal viewing experience across different devices.
Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to improve website design and functionality.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design.
Edit and/or add new features, plugins, and content to existing websites
Meets regularly with other teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business.
Reports directly to the Creative Art Director.

Qualifications
Proven experience as a web designer or similar role.
Proficient in WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Beaver Builder, and other web design tools.
Strong understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
Familiarity with digital marketing principles and strategies.
Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability testing.
Solid understanding of on-page SEO.
Knowledge of Beaver Builder plug-in
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Well-versed in site audit and optimization techniques for site speed and performance – familiar with Google’s Core Web Vitals and able to address any website issues that would affect meaningful performance metrics
Excellent written and spoken English skills and an eye for quality
Are excited to learn new things and grow your skills (because there’s always a better way to do something and more to know)
Are an independent type who can happily work on your own (with appropriate guidance) but also enjoy being part of a team
Will roll up your sleeves and figure out tough problems on your own, but are willing to ask for help when you run into a problem you just can’t solve
Are patient and flexible - our clients are bound to change their minds at some point and we'll have to adapt
Always strive to communicate proactively and responsively, replying to questions or emails within 24 hours, responding to Skype messages quickly, as well as updating and clearly documenting your work in Upgrade to see actual info (our project management tool)
Want to be here for the long haul (We’re not interested in training you if you’re just looking for a short-term freelance job to bring in some cash or plan to go off and work for another agency once you’ve developed more skills - please don’t apply if that’s your goal).
Preferably with previous graveyard work experience.
Must be able to work a night shift for 8 hours, Monday-Friday as we work on EST.

Home-Based Work Requirements:
Fast and reliable wired internet connection of not less than 25 Mbps and backup;
Updated computer (desktop or laptop), excellent quality headset with microphone and backup computer unit;
Backup power supply; and
A quiet, private home office that’s free from noisy backgrounds or distractions

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
