JOB OVERVIEW

IDG Advertising has been building campaigns for clients for over 25 years. We're small enough that your work gets noticed, and diverse enough that you'll never be bored. One week you're designing a landing page for a national brand; the next, you're turning around a mailer for a neighborhood dental clinic. We like people who can think on their feet and take pride in their craft.

We're a small agency that does big things. What we offer is real mentorship, real responsibility, and the kind of hands-on experience that takes years to accumulate somewhere else. We also genuinely like each other, which sounds like a low bar until you've worked somewhere that doesn't. Team lunches, random celebrations, and actual camaraderie are just part of how we operate. If you want to grow fast and have fun doing it, this is that place.

The Role
We're looking for a designer who's part visual thinker, part web builder, and part problem-solver. Think of it as 40% graphic designer, 30% UX-minded web builder, and 30% social media creator. You'll work across digital and print, touch real campaigns with real clients, and see your work actually ship.
This is a role built for someone who wants to learn the full stack of agency design work, not just one narrow lane.

What You'll Do
Design websites and landing pages with UX and accessibility in mind
Build and deploy email campaigns across platforms like MailChimp
Create social media graphics and templates across multiple platforms
Design print collateral, including brochures, flyers, and mailers, and manage vendor delivery
Maintain brand standards across multiple client accounts
Collaborate with the team from concept through execution, and get real feedback along the way

What You Bring
1+ year of design experience, or a strong portfolio that shows you've been putting in the work on your own
Adobe Creative Suite fluency (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); After Effects is a bonus
Figma proficiency for wireframing, layout, and components
Some CMS experience, especially WordPress; basic HTML/CSS helps but you don't need to hand-code
Familiarity with email platforms, social media specs, and print production
An understanding of UX basics and web accessibility principles
Comfort working from scratch and within existing brand systems
If you're already experimenting with AI design tools, we want to hear about it. We're not afraid of new things.

Who You Are
You're detail-oriented and deadline-driven, but you don't lose the creative thread. You like variety. You get energized by switching gears between clients, and you find satisfaction in making every project feel like it got your full attention. You communicate clearly, take feedback well, and you're in it to keep getting better.

Full-time | Mon-Friday
Anaheim, CA (on-site required)
Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
Daily snacks and beverages
Quarterly team outings and monthly celebrations
A close-knit team where your work is seen, credited, and talked about
Real work-life balance: we protect it deliberately

To Apply
Submit your resume and a link to your online portfolio. We review portfolios seriously, so make sure it reflects your best work.
Please, no recruiters, agencies, offshore applicants, or remote-only candidates.
