THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled Web Development and Tracking Specialist to join our team. This role is vital for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting digital tracking solutions across various platforms to ensure accurate data collection for our paid media efforts. If you have a strong foundation in web development, experience with multiple content management systems (CMS), and a passion for seamless tracking integration, we want to hear from you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
*Tracking Implementation: Develop and manage tracking systems for paid media campaigns, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis across all channels.
*CMS Management: Work with a variety of content management systems, including WordPress, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, and Magento, to integrate tracking codes and maintain site integrity.
*Google Tag Manager (GTM): Create, implement, and manage tags in GTM, setting up events and triggers to monitor user interactions and conversions.
*Web Development: Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other coding languages to customize website functionalities, optimize page performance, and troubleshoot any issues that impact tracking or user experience.
*Collaboration: Work closely with the paid media team, analysts, and account managers to align tracking solutions with client goals and campaign strategies.
*Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot tracking issues, ensuring all data collected is accurate and actionable for campaign optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS
*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
*Proven experience as a Web Developer or working with tracking.
*Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js).
*Experience with back-end technologies (Node.js, PHP, Ruby, etc.) and databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
*Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
*Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal.
*Knowledge of paid media best practices.
*Understanding of web security practices.
