Web Developer / Shopify & Squarespace Specialist (Project-Based)

Title: Web Developer — Squarespace + Shopify Build (Contract Project)

Type: One-time project (with potential for ongoing work)

Pay: $700–900 USD for the full project (or $8–10/hr, est. 80–100 hrs)

About the Role:
We're a US-based agency building out a website and e-commerce store for a high-profile author and media personality. We need a skilled developer who can take existing brand assets, templates, and content and execute a polished, professional build. You won't be creating strategy or copy — that's provided. We need clean, reliable execution.

What You'll Do:

Expand and strengthen an existing Squarespace website (new pages, improved structure, better layout)
Build a Shopify store for book and merchandise sales (product setup, checkout, payment integration)
Embed/connect the Shopify store with the Squarespace site
Integrate Constant Contact email with the site and store (signup forms, list sync)
Set up A/B testing for email/landing pages
Ensure mobile-responsiveness, fast load times, and clean SEO basics
Requirements:

Proven Squarespace experience (portfolio required)
Proven Shopify build experience (portfolio required)
Experience integrating email platforms (Constant Contact, Klaviyo, or Mailchimp)
Strong attention to detail — this is a celebrity brand, quality matters
Excellent written English and responsive communication
Able to start immediately and work to a launch deadline
Nice to Have:

SEO experience
Basic graphic/design sensibility for layout polish
