Web Designer for Local Business Websites

Our agency needs a web designer. We are creating design templates for local business websites. This would include service businesses: a cleaning company, deck builder, painting company and more.

This is a freelancer gig that could transition to a full-time job for the right person.

Web Designer Job Responsibilities:

Take ownership of design projects.
Design page layouts and templates.
Develop and maintain consistent branding.
Collaborate with UX, marketing, engineering, and other teams.
Select and prepare imagery.
Create and maintain a database of design assets.

Web Designer Qualifications/Skills:

Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals
Demonstrated ability to take a project from concept to launch
Strong command of color theory, image composition, and typography
Excellent time-management skills
Ability to deliver production-ready digital assets in a wide variety of formats
Awareness of UI/UX principles
Familiarity with digital photo editing
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field
One to three years of professional design experience
Portfolio of strong creative work
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
Experience with HTML, Javascript, and CSS
Social media and email marketing experience a plus

Work Hours & Benefits for the Full-Time Position:

This is a full-time position Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5PM, EST.
Every month you work, you earn 1 personal day which can be used as personal days, sick days or vacation days (12 days per Year).

You must work at least one month to earn 1 day.
Then you earn 1 day every month you work thereafter.
You will be paid weekly in USD.

Good Friday – March 29
Araw ng Kagitingan – April 9 (Tuesday)
Labor Day – May 1 (Wednesday)
Independence Day – June 12 (Wednesday)
National Heroes Day – August 26 (Monday)
Bonifacio Day – November 30 (Saturday)
Christmas Day – December 25 (Wednesday)
Rizal Day – December 30 (Monday)
