Web & Design Support Specialist
Remote · Part-Time (with Full-Time Potential) · Eastern Time
About Us
We are a web design and SEO studio based in New Jersey, and we've been at it for seven years. We build and care for websites for creative and service-based business owners, photographers, interior designers, coaches, and the like, who want an online home that feels as considered as the work they do offline. Our philosophy comes down to one idea: your website should let you show up online the way you show up in real life.
About the Role
As our Web & Design Support Specialist, you'll be the steady hand keeping our clients' websites current and looking their best, while also acting as the central point of communication across our projects. The work is a blend of hands-on website updates, design, social media, and light coordination, all built around care and attention to detail. This is a long-term role for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to grow alongside a studio that values them.
What You'll Do
-Keep client websites current. Add and update content across our clients' sites, including new webinars, events, tea
-Run point on client tickets. Manage incoming requests in our CRM and act as the main point of contact so clients always know their work is in good hands.
-Be the hub of communication. Coordinate with the rest of our team and outside collaborators (developers, senior designers, contractors) to keep every project moving smoothly.
-Create graphics and social content. Design graphics in Canva when a ticket calls for it, and produce social graphics, reels, and light video edits for the studio's Instagram and Pinterest.
-Show off the work. Put together before-and-afters of our projects, plus the occasional launch graphics we gift to clients when their sites go live.
-Keep us consistent on social. Maintain a posting schedule for Instagram and Pinterest so our work stays visible.
-Handle basic on-page SEO. Add meta descriptions, alt text, and other small optimizations as part of the edits.
Who You Are
-You're confident working in Showit, WordPress, and Squarespace.
-You're detail-oriented to your core, the kind of person who catches what most people miss.
-You communicate clearly and warmly in both written and verbal English, and you're comfortable being the point of contact for clients and collaborators.
-You manage your time well and keep things moving without needing to be chased.
-You're available during Eastern time hours so our days line up.
-You're looking for a long-term partnership over short-term work. I'd rather invest in one person and keep them for years.
Even Better If
-You have experience with
-You have a basic foundation in SEO beyond the on-page essentials.
-You've built a portfolio of aesthetic, well-designed graphics for social media.
How We Work Together
Most of our team has been with the studio for three years or more, and that's exactly what we're hoping for with this hire. We're not trying to build a big agency. We like being small, taking on work we genuinely care about, and protecting a happy, balanced life for everyone on the team. Most of the work runs on your own schedule, with the two of us meeting every two weeks to talk through questions, active projects, and anything that needs a decision. We don't do many client calls, though you may occasionally sit in on one to take notes.
Support and Training
You won't be thrown in and left to figure things out on your own. I provide hands-on training from the start and will walk you through many of our projects personally. For the things that are easier to show than to explain, I record Looms you can rewatch as often as you need. And when something feels hard, you'll have experienced tea
Schedule and Hours
This is a set Monday through Friday schedule, which keeps things consistent for everyone (you included) when it comes to hours, pay, and rhythm. The ideal working window falls somewhere between 10 AM and 5 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday, with major holidays off. To confirm you've read this far, please include a picture of a pink bunny somewhere in your application. The role runs 20 to 25 hours a week to start, and I'm open to a full-time 30 hours depending on your experience and availability.
COMPENSATION$ $5/hr-$8/hr depending on experience.
***** How to Apply
If this sounds like the kind of work and team you've been looking for, I'd love to hear from you. Send a short note about your experience with Showit, WordPress, and/or Squarespace, a few examples of website edits or graphics you've created, any similar work you've done and a little about yourself.
I read every application personally.
