Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and creative Video Editor and Graphics Designer to join our team. As a Video Editor/Graphics Designer Hybrid, you will be responsible for producing engaging video content and creating visually stunning graphics that align with our client’s image. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and creative teams to bring our ideas to life through compelling videos and eye-catching designs.
Responsibilities:
Performance Creative Editing
- Editing raw footage into UGC ads, ensuring seamless transitions, proper pacing, and compelling storytelling
- Designing high-converting static creatives for paid social or internal, including but not limited to product-focused, promotional, and AI-generated graphics
- Collaborating with the creative team to conceptualize and design visually stunning videos that convert into sales
- Managing and organizing video and graphic assets, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient file management
- Selecting appropriate B-Rolls that fit the script and voiceovers
- Selecting and incorporating appropriate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the overall video production
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality
Performance Creative Strategy
- Staying up-to-date with design trends, techniques, and tools to bring fresh ideas to the table consistently
- Help verify/review content submitted by creators/talents, ensuring quality and accuracy
- Translating complex ideas into simple, compelling visuals that resonate with our target audience
- Developing unique and engaging visual content for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, presentations, landing pages, and more
- Support organization of content, deliverables, and project files
Help generate new creative concepts for videos and statics
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor and Graphics Designer or a similar role.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe - Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
- Strong understanding of video editing principles, including pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
- A portfolio demonstrating your video editing and graphic design skills is required.
- Willingness to work Pacific Time day hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in creating videos and graphics for paid social ads/marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their video requirements.
- Ability to work independently and take creative initiative.
