The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, editing, and optimizing bodycam videos focused on a specific U.S. state, ensuring high engagement and shareability across multiple platforms, including YouTube, Instagram,
Responsibilities:
Source high-quality bodycam footage related to i
Edit and produce two engaging, high-retention videos per week for YouTube.
Create platform-specific edits for Instagram,
Add captions, blur sensitive information, and enhance audio where necessary.
Maintain consistency in branding, style, and pacing across all videos.
Optimize content for YouTube SEO, thumbnails, and titles to improve discoverability.
Stay updated on trends in bodycam-related content to improve engagement.
Requirements:
Proven experience editing bodycam footage or similar content.
Track record of working with a successful YouTube channel (preferably in the law enforcement/bodycam niche).
Strong video editing skills in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
Ability to source and legally use bodycam footage.
Understanding of social media algorithms and engagement strategies.
Strong sense of storytelling and pacing to keep viewers engaged.
Reliable and able to meet deadlines consistently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with YouTube SEO, analytics, and growth strategies.
Familiarity with legal considerations around bodycam footage usage.
Ability to create eye-catching thumbnails and titles.
