The job
• Video Editor for SEA Studios, a video production studio, focused on talking heads, podcasts and event production based in the UK and run by Stevie Arnoldi, company director
• SEA Studios clients include Puma Capital, The IPTF, and Kistler.
Requirements:
• Fluent English, with C1-level written English.
• Your own laptop/desktop + stable 100 Mbps minimum internet.
• You must edit on Adobe Premiere Pro and must have an Adobe Premiere Pro License
• Experience editing podcasts, events and interview-led content preferred
• Use and knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
• Reliable, detail-focused, has a common-sense approach to problem-solving and editing and treats mistakes as data for improvement.
• Discretion. You will be handling confidential information and will be required to sign an NDA
Desired skills and experience:
• Knowledge of After Effects or graphic design using Illustrator and/or InDesign and/or Photoshop) to edit existing creative assets or to create video assets a big plus
• Knowledge of video production and post-production workflows and project management
• Knowledge of AI tools and automations is preferred but not required (bonuses will be paid for tasks that get automated).
• Use and knowledge of Notion (Our project management software)

Tasks
Video Editing
• Edit talking-head videos, interviews, podcasts, event highlights, and session films.
• Assemble edits from supplied footage, scripts and briefs.
• Create social media clips from long-form content.
• Add subtitles, graphics, logos and branding elements.
• Perform audio clean-up and basic colour correction.
• Export and organise final deliverables according to SEA Studios’ naming conventions.
Project & Asset Management
• Organise project files, footage and assets within SEA Studios’ folder structures.
• Upload and download project assets via Dropbox.
• Maintain project status updates within Notion.
• Ensure all project files are stored securely, backed up and correctly archived.
Quality Control
• Check videos for spelling mistakes, audio issues, visual errors and branding consistency.
• Review exports before delivery.
• Follow documented editing and delivery processes.
Optional / Growth Responsibilities
• Create simple motion graphics and animations.
• Assist with production workflows.
• Research stock footage, music and visual assets.
• Suggest workflow improvements and automation opportunities.
• Support with AI-assisted editing, transcription and content repurposing.
